At Wriggle Training we see the need to educate students from the ages of 14 and up on the importance of digital marketing. We feel that the basics of digital marketing should form part of the syllabus across both school subjects such as business and within university degree courses such as Business Management and Marketing. Within these educational platforms there is a clear lack of emphasis on the digital aspect of marketing and in our digital age this needs to be a priority.
Over the course of the last five years, digital marketing has become an integral part of the way businesses operate. The ability to market their products/services and knowledge (even if just in the basic sense) is a key skill which employers look for when recruiting staff.
At Wriggle Training one of our aims is to educate students on the basics of digital marketing and we have put together a series of six, 45 minute lectures to ensure the students on the aforementioned courses have a sound understanding and are equipped to answer questions from prospective employers.
